Movie tickets are often saved as memorabilia for a variety of reasons. Sometimes, people save them because the actual film meant a lot to them. At other times, it was the occasion which was of more significance. This may be due to the particular theatre or the company with whom the event took place.

Whatever the reason, stubs from movie tickets can be quite the prized possession. Many times, people desire to find stubs from older movies. However, this is a very unlikely find. The reason for this is that earlier stubs were generally mass produced with minimal customization. It wasn't until the mid eighties that more advanced ticketing systems began to appear.

However, movie tickets from more recent movies can be great items to collect. If the movie means quite a bit to you, you may be interested in purchasing a poster for it as well. There are many ways to display both items in a manner which compliments their particular aesthetics. Setting up tickets or other memorabilia in an attractive display can alert the viewers of these items to their value. This is true whether they are kept in the home, office, or elsewhere.
